Hey there! I've worked in the industry for 18 years across the industry. From education with Aveda in Toronto, to travelling throughout Canada, US and Europe styling hair for clients & hair shows. A career highlight will always be styling hair backstage at NY fashion week.

Travelling to new cities and people watching always fills my cup when it comes to new ideas and inspiration for hair & beauty!Film, Lifestyle, fashion, culture and design are instant inspo providers as well.

The best part about my jonb is getting to connect with so many different and interesting personalities through the clients that sit in my chair.

I am most passionate about being a leader in this female dominated industry by giving stylists a positive work environment that they feel supported and proud to work in. I want my team to thrive professionally and coaching them through their career goals is my greatest honor.

SENIOR STYLIST

I’ve been a professional hairstylist & colourist for 11 years specializing in blondes & extensions. I want my clients to have a place where they can unwind from everyday life & enjoy a well deserved “me day”.

Currently my favourite place to travel is Montreal, to visit my prince charming and to also explore the beautiful city. Otherwise, you'll find me on a beach!I start my morning very early at 5:30 am, go to the gym before my busy day with clients starts. I also love to get my beauty sleep so I’m typically in bed no later the 8:30-9 pm.

My favourite hair product is the heat relief. I wish people took better care of their scalp, the same way they take care of their skin. My favourite Starbucks order is a venti latte with 1.5 pumps of chai.

Having my clients trust me with all of their needs is my fav part of my job. That, and also building a beautiful unique relationship with every single one of them. I get all of my inspiration from Instagram I follow a lot of amazing salon owners who inspire me everyday. Also TRAVELING is a really big one for me. The more I travel the more inspired I get, seeing all the different architecture, visiting museums, galleries, different restaurants. It gives me a fresh mind and helps tap into my creative side.

Hi I am Sarah! I have been a stylist for 6 years but working in salon for over 8. I started off as an assistant in highschool and have been working in a salon ever since. I am from a small town called Milverton and I love it there with my husband & our sweet baby boy Dozer who is 5.

I love doing hair, being able to make you feel and look your best is the best reward! My favourite thing to do with hair is COLOUR! I love creating the perfect colour for your skintone and style whether blonde or brunette.

I love fashion and shopping & get so much inspiration from Pinterest & TikTok. I absolutely love texture tonic product & how it adds grit and volume to my hair. I wish people would brush there scalps more before shampooing there hair. I love hailey biebers style she's got a chic street style that gives me so much inspiration.

JULIA

COLOR EXPERT

I have been a colour specialist for 5 years. I have an incredible passion for giving you the colour of your dreams! I love everything about colour from a full head of highlights to a colour correction. As a stylist I will always make you feel better leaving than when you came in!

I currently live in a Guelph with my wife and two cats ( Phillip and Ivan). My favourite thing to do on a day off is to grab Starbucks and go on a walk with my wife at Riverside park in Guelph. My favourite piece of beauty advice would be “to rock what you wish” this goes from hair to style! Age, gender, and beauty do not judge what you can do! Rock what you’ve got and confidence will pour out!

Favourite place to travel would be, Trinidad and Tobago. This is where my wife grew up and this country is so colourful, warm and full of beauty. Fav Starbucks order: cappuccino with oat milk and one Splenda. A hair product I can’t live without is the Olaplex number 9. This gives shine and strengthens your hair.

I have been working as a professional stylist taking clients full time for over a year now. I love accenting your natural hair by creating more depth and highlights and accenting it with the perfect haircut for you whether long or short. I’m from the country side near Ancaster and didn’t ever visit St. Jacobs before coming to check out Charise’s salon here.

The beauty industry, hair specifically is always changing and I love that about my job. I get to try new styles, techniques and challenge my skills on clients of varying ages everyday. I love the technical aspect behind the final product of colour and cuts; whether I’m formulating the perfect undertone on blondes and brunettes, or I’m changing the shape of a haircut and trying new layering techniques to fit your everyday lifestyle and still keep it exciting.

My favourite hair trends are fringes and face framing layers always keeping it unique to the client. I think the best thing for anyone out there is a good leave in conditioner and never forgetting to brush your hair. Healthy shiny hair is happy hair.

Hey, I'm Kenzie! I am a junior stylist here at T&F.

I love blondes, extensions and iced coffee :P.

I love mixing classy and timeless looks

with modern styles. I love music, baking, volunteering and going on drives. I love Avedas thickening tonic, botanical strengthening leave in treatment and heat relief.

JUNIOR STYLIST

I’m Nicolas. I am an assistant at Thatch and Fringe working on my apprenticeship. I graduated Hair School in October of 2022 and started at Thatch not long after that.

I am working toward becoming a well rounded stylist and focussing my career on bringing joy to people through their hair. As of now, I am taking clients for all services & am always supervised by my amazing mentors.

I have a dog at home named Willow and i’m sure you’ll hear me talk about her during your appointment :) My favourite Starbucks drink is an iced chai tea latte with a pump of mocha.

A little bit about me... On my travel bucket list is Austrailia, I live for summer, the hotter the better and I love a good tan.

What inspires me? Myself. I’m always trying to be the best version of myself, Growing and learning as I go.
